In latest Uttarakhand news, Pithoragarh police arrested a computer teacher on the charge of attempting to sexually assault a girl student. Police said that a case has been filed against the accused under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. Speaking of the alleged crime, the district police superintendent Lokeshwer Singh said that a resident of Jajardewal area had filed a complaint at Jajardewal police station, saying that the computer teacher had barged into his house past midnight on August 9 with the intention of sexually assaulting his 15-year-old granddaughter who is his student. The girl reportedly alleged that the teacher would molest her physically whenever opportunity came his way.
