Patriotic fervour marked the Independence Day celebration at Doon International School (DIS) in Dehradun. Major General A S Rawat unfurled the tri- colour flag while the director Sonika Mann and principal Dinesh Bartwal were present. The special attraction of the celebration lay in the series of speeches delivered by the students on the themes of India’s independence and the imperative of holding the nation’s genius afloat.
