In latest Uttarakhand news, the research student of the Himalayan Aquatic Biodiversity Department of Garhwal University Neha Badola was felicitated with the Young Scientist Award under the Sixth Plantica Academic Research Award by the Plantica Association of Plant Science Researchers. The award was given to her in recognition of her research work on the micro-plastic pollution of the Ganga. This research paper was recently published by the prestigious Science of The Total Environment journal. Neha said that the entire credit for this award should go to her teacher Jaspal Singh Chauhan.
