In latest Uttarakhand news, the senior officials of the Century Pulp and Paper based in Lalkuan, Nainital informed that recognising the company’s works in the realm of environmental conservation, the Greentech Foundation has felicitated the company with the Greentech Award. The award was presented to the company’s senior vice-president and HR/IR head Arun Prakash Pandey at a felicitation programme held in New Delhi. In his address, Pandey reiterated the company’s commitment to the causes of human resources and environmental conservation. It was thanks to the company’s stress on the value of human resources that the employees of the company are working dedicatedly, resulting in skill enhancement, less expenditure and increased productivity. Echoing the same view, senior general manager of Century Pulp and Paper Naresh Chandra said that as part of the company’s works on environmental conservation, it keeps participating in tree plantation drives in the Pantnagar University premises and other places.
