The chairman of Bharatiya Chikitsa Parishad Uttarakhand Dr JS Nautiyal has expressed happiness at the decision of the State cabinet to give clearance to the Ayush policy 2023. He said that the decision will attract more investment in Ayush and wellness in the state and will increase employment opportunities in the state.
He said, “Ayush policy has been made according to the geographical conditions of the state and is employment-oriented. In this policy, in addition to the subsidy received in the industrial policy on the cultivation of herbs, manufacturing of medicines and opening of new Ayush panchkarma, the Ayush department will also provide additional subsidies to Ayush educational institutions. With the necessity of NAAC grading, the level of Ayush education will get enhanced. With the opening of more NABH accredited Ayush wellness hospitals, standard Ayush treatment will be available to local people along with domestic and foreign tourists.’’
