The government is all set to effectively tackle the planned effort of the opposition to corner it on various issues during the monsoon session of the Vidhan Sabha starting today. Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami presided over the meeting of the BJP legislature party held at the CM residence here on Monday evening.
According to party sources, during the meeting the ministers were told to come fully prepared to effectively answer and also rebut the questions and allegations of the opposition. “The government will provide satisfactory replies to questions which may be raised by the opposition. The ministers and members are prepared to give a befitting rebuttal to the opposition members,” said a party leader.
It is pertinent to mention here that as seen in the past, issues being raised by the opposition are expected to be raised vociferously during the Assembly session. The ministers concerned will counter the opposition on issues including anti-encroachment drive underway in various parts of the State following court orders, the action taken by the State government in response to disaster situations experienced in various parts of the State during the monsoon and other issues which the opposition may raise.
