MDDAs team to visit Delhi to learn from G20 summit works

The Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) will soon send a team to Delhi to study various aspects of preparations which were done for the G20 summit like decoration, landscaping and greenery among others. The decision has been taken as per the order of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to help the team make grand preparations for the global investors summit which is scheduled to be held in Dehradun during December. MDDA has been given the responsibility of carrying out works like landscaping, hoarding installation, wall painting and facade, among others on 13 routes of Dehradun for the summit. A visit to Delhi decked up for the G20 summit attended by dignitaries from all around the world will help the MDDA team to make world-class preparations during the investors summit in Dehradun as well, as per the officials. Considering this, the team will analyse preparations done for the G20 summit like decoration, installation of LED lights of various designs on electric poles, construction works and greenery related works, among others. The greenery works like the plantation of medicinal plants like Neem and Amla are impressing many people and such ideas can be gathered by the team there which can be executed here successfully as well, said the officials. The vice chairman of MDDA Banshidhar Tiwari has directed the MDDA secretary Mohan Singh Barnia to form a team of officials to send to Delhi who will inspect all the work done by the teams there. He said that the G20 summit is the biggest global event held in Delhi since the Commonwealth Games held there in 2010. The teams there executed incredible preparations for this global event. The experience of the teams of other cities can immensely help others to learn and execute plans and concepts as per their requirement, said Tiwari.
