The birthday of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was celebrated as Yuva Sankalp Diwas on Saturday in the State. Many programmes and the blood donation camps were organised in different parts of the State to mark the day. Large number of people from all walks of life met CM Dhami at his residence to greet him birthday. The CM expressed his gratitude to all who greeted him on his birthday. He said that he is overwhelmed by the love bestowed on him by the people of the State. The CM said that the state government is committed to make Uttarakhand the best State in the country.
The social media sites were also replete with the greetings to the CM on his birthday on Saturday. On twitter (now called X) #Yuvasankalpdiwas remained trending throughout the day.
Blood donation camp held on CM’s birthday
A blood donation camp was organised at Amrit farm, Sahastradhara road on the occasion of Yuva Sankalp Diwas on Saturday. The CM Pushkar Singh Dhami also attended the programme. Speaking on the occasion, he appreciated the blood donors and said that people should come forward to provide blood to the patients. He also thanked the party workers for organising the programme. He said that the role of workers is important in ensuring that the social welfare schemes of the government reach the general public. Dhami said that the union government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is giving full support to the State government. He averred that the construction activity and development works will get an impetus after the end of rainy season. The Raipur MLA Umesh Sharma Kau said that Uttarakhand is moving on the path of development under the leadership of Dhami.
