Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath said that the zonal councils are becoming a forum of solution of the issues. Addressing the CZC meeting, he said that with the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home minister Amit Shah the most populous state UP has shed the image of a ‘Bimaru’ State and is now being recognised as a prosperous State.
He suggested that the 25th meeting of the CZC should be organised in Varanasi. The UP CM said that during monsoon the Himalayan States such as Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh face disaster and now more areas are facing such situations. He suggested that apart from ensuring safety of the catchment areas of the rivers, channelisation of rivers should also be done. The UP CM said that work should be done in mission mode to prevent the incidents of lightning. He said that coordinated effort between the States should be done to prevent human wildlife conflict.
