Union Home minister Amit Shah’s meeting with BJP leaders on Saturday has boosted the morale of the party with Shah stating that the State government under chief minister Pushkar Singh Dham is doing good work.
The BJP State president Mahendra Bhatt told the media on Sunday that during the meeting-which continued till late evening- Shah said that the State government is performing better like the Central government. Some of the decisions and actions taken by the State government are being appreciated across India, said Bhatt. While meeting the office bearers of the media and social media cells of the party, Shah gave suggestions for constructive use of social media to ensure public awareness on welfare schemes through social media. The information shared should be correct and clear so that the people can benefit from it.
Shah further suggested that WhatsApp groups should be formed till the booth level to further improve communication. The BJP State president informed that there are a total of 11,670 booths in the State out of which WhatsApp groups have been prepared for 10,000 booths. Shah was of the opinion that due to the government’s work and organisational efforts, the people are going to elect Modi to office for the third time. The BJP will win all the five Lok Sabha seats in Uttarakhand with record votes, he said.
