The Vasundhara Manav Kalyan Sanstha (VMKS) will be organising free mental health check-ups on October 10 at Doon Therapeutic Centre behind ONGC hospital. The president of VMKS Dr Pratibha Sharma informed that a free mental health check-up camp is being organised to mart the World Mental Health Day. The primary objective of this event is to assess the prevalence of mental health issues in Dehradun. Additionally, the organisation aims to promote awareness about mental health among children through this mental health camp, she added.
She further said that the camp will have about 10 clinical psychologists available to provide diagnosis and treatment to the patients. Those interested can reach the camp between 11 PM and 6 PM. She kindly urged individuals who are experiencing mental health concerns to participate in this camp, she said.
