CM gratefully remembers statehood martyrs on state foundation day

In latest news from Dehradun, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid floral tributes to the statehood movement activists who embraced martyrdom at the martyrs’ column in the city to mark the Uttarakhand State Foundation Day and said that Uttarakhand has become a state thanks to their determination and perseverance, suffering and supreme sacrifice made for the cause. Reiterating his government’s commitment to work towards fulfilling the statehood martyrs’ dream, he said that developmental journey of the State has gained pace under the inspiring leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He further said that they would go the whole hog to make Uttarakhand the best State in the country by 2025 in sync with the PM’s exhortation. Among others, the State BJP president Mahendra Bhatt and MLA Khajan Das were present at the occasion along with a score of the statehood movement activists.
