The State Health department has prepared Ayushman Bharat Health Account ( ABHA ) IDs of more than 62 lakh people in the State. The department has also made 54 lakh Ayushman cards in the State. The Health minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that the State government has taken up a target of making ABHA IDs and Ayushman cards of the 100 per cent population till March 2024 and the department is working in the direction of meeting the target.
He said that from September 17, Ayushman Bhav campaign is underway in the state and under it 4,03,105 ABHA IDs have been made.
A total of 13,18,990 ABHA IDs have been made in Dehradun, 7,27,771 in Nainital, 10,27,120 in Haridwar, 7,87,596 in Udham Singh Nagar, 4,56,124 in Pauri, 3,51,181 in Almora, 3,60,786 in Tehri Garhwal, 2,87,832 in Pithoragarh, 2,44,178 in Chamoli, 1,47,535 in Bageshwar, 1,68,874 in Champawat, 2,04,927 in Uttarkashi and 1,35,138 in Rudraprayag district.
