A one day workshop on research methodology was held in the University of Patanjali on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, BNYS dean Toran Singh said that humans are the only creatures aware of and inquisitive about their environment, nature and natural medicine. Humans have progressed in naturopathy on the basis of their logic, thought and research.
People have consistently undertaken research in depth on natural resources and established naturopathy as an effective system of medicine, Singh said. Various other subject experts talked on various aspects during the workshop. Dr Dimple Kondal spoke on biostatistics while Dr Chandrashekhar shared aspects of systematic research.
Dr Manjunath Sharma delivered a lecture on Yoga research. Patanjali Research Institute principal scientist Dr Anurag Varshne, Swami Ananddev, Patanjali Ayurved Hospital dentist and research centre department head Dr Kuldeep Singh were also present on the occasion along with university students and researchers.
