The State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (SCPCR) will organise a workshop on drug abuse and cyber safety in Tehri on November 20. Member of SCPCR Vishal Chachra informed that there has been an increase in cyber crime and drug consumption cases across the State.
In view of this, the commission will be organising a workshop in Tehri on November 20. The workshop will aim to create awareness among students about the negative impacts of drugs. Additionally, the event will also include tips on preventing cyber crimes which will be shared with school-level children. He informed that about 150 school children will be part of the said programme.
It will be recalled that recently SCPCR had organised a workshop on cyber crime for children in Dehradun.
