In latest news from Uttarakhand, fire broke out in a closed factory on the Lakshman Jhula Marg in Rishikesh. It is learnt that the tyre-making factory remained closed for a long time. On being informed by the locals of the blaze, the fire brigade personnel rushed to scene and it took them quite a long time to put out the flame. Though the exact cause behind the fire is yet to be ascertained, it is learnt that tyres stacked in the factory worth a few lakh rupees were burnt in the fire.
