The chief secretary SS Sandhu along with Garhwal commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey and Dehradun district magistrate Sonika took stock of the preparations for the Global Investors Summit on Friday in the Forest Research Institute premises. He observed all arrangements including security arrangements at the venue, the route plan for the movement of guests, seating and food arrangements among others. He also inspected the parking space being constructed on the premises for the event and gave necessary directions to the officers concerned regarding the completion of the work. He directed the officials to make proper arrangements to ensure smooth traffic on routes during the summit. He also directed the officials concerned to ensure that all the work related to the summit must be completed soon as per the layout. He said that the layout plan, internal and external plan, movement plan, food court and other related works should be done as per the official plan considering the security standards as per the protocol.
