CM in Delhi to invite PM, Shah, Nadda for investors summit

In latest news from Uttarakhand, with the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) having confirmed that the PM Narendra Modi would inaugurate the two-day Global Investors Summit slated to commence in the Forest Research Institute (FRI) in Dehradun on December 8, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has reached Delhi to present invitation cards for the summit to the PM, a number of Cabinet ministers and the BJP president J P Nadda. The State government officers privy to the details informed that three Union Cabinet ministers –Dharmendra Pradhan, G Kishan Reddy and Mansukh L Mandaviya-have already confirmed their participation. The CM is likely to meet the PM and the Union Home minister Amit Shah during his Delhi visit. It is further learnt from sources that Shah may be present on the concluding day of the summit. The CM claims that MoUs worth Rs two lakh crore have been inked during his road shows held in different cities of the country and abroad. The officers further said that the State government expects that MoUs worth Rs 50,00 crore to Rs one lakh crore to be signed during the summit. Meanwhile, with the State gearing up for the upcoming summit, the chief secretary went to the FRI to take stock of the preparations going on there.
