Mahara demands CM’s resignation after a witness’s disclosure in court

In latest news from Dehradun, training his gun again on the ruling BJP on the Ankita Bhandari murder case, the State Congress president Karan Mahara demanded resignation of the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in the aftermath of the JCB driver while deposing before the court as a witness having said that he had been instructed by the then sub-divisional magistrate and the BJP MLA from Yamkeshwar Renu Bisht to demolish the resort where Ankita was working. The Congress leader further demanded action against then SDM and the MLA in the wake of the startling disclosure by the mechanical excavator driver before court. Mahara said that wiping out evidences of a crime is a greater crime than committing the crime. He alleged that the clothes of the girl had been thrown in the swimming pool and the resort had been set on fire as part of the premeditated conspiracy of evidence destruction, adding that the resort had been set on fire again after a fornight. He said that the resort should have been sealed after the crime came to fore to stop evidences from being tampered.
