CM stresses on swift grounding of projects mooted during Summit

In latest news from Dehradun, while chairing a review meeting of the State industry department, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that with generation of jobs and providing self-employment being his government’s priority, the pace of grounding projects finalised during the Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit must be accelerated. He also stressed on more and more job fairs being organised across the State to facilitate jobs for the youth in the industry sector. He asked the officers concerned to firm up new policies to boost industrialisation and at the same time mark the areas where amendments are to be brought to impart further impetus to the industrialisation process. He also unscored the need of formulating a new IT policy that meets the current requirements and the growing aspirations of the youth and the constitution of a dedicated cell to promote exports from the State. Moreover, he directed the officers to complete works related to a string of development projects like Amritsar-Kolkata Industrial Park, Electronic Park in Kashipur and Plastic Park in Sitarganj.
