10 IPS and PPS officers transferred

In a reshuffle on Friday, the State government transferred 10 Indian Police Service (IPS) and Provincial Police Service (PPS) officers. As per the order issued by the government, the IPS officer Sukhbir Singh has been given the charge of deputy inspector general (Intelligence) who was earlier posted as commander in IRB-I at Ramnagar’s Belparao in Nainital.
The senior superintendent of police (SSP) of Almora district, Ramchandra Rajguru has been appointed as commander in IRB-I Ramnagar’s Belparao in Nainital. The Champawat SP Devendra Pincha has been appointed as the new SSP of the Almora district. The SP (Railways) in Haridwar Ajay Ganpati has been appointed as the new Champawat SP. The SP (Rural) of Dehradun Kamlesh Upadhyay is now the SP (Crime) of Dehradun.
Besides this, the SP (City) of Dehradun Sarita Dobhal has also been appointed as SP (Railways) in Haridwar. The PPS officer Pramod Kumar who was holding the charge of SP (Crime) of Dehradun is now the new SP (City) of Dehradun. The divisional officer of the Crime Branch Criminal Investigation Department (CBCID) in Dehradun Lokjit Singh has been appointed as SP (Rural) of Dehradun. The deputy superintendent of police of Dehradun Pankaj Gairola has been appointed as the new SP of traffic and crime in Haridwar.
The DSP of Haridwar Manoj Kumar Thakur has been appointed as divisional officer of CBCID, Dehradun. All officers have been directed to assume charge of their new positions soon in their respective districts, as per the order.
