In latest news from Dehradun, with ten days left for the consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the bus service connecting Lord Ram’s birthplace and Uttarakhand has commenced. The Uttarakhand Transport Corporation’s (UTC) officers said they have launched the bus service on the directive of the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The first bus left the Haldwani roadways depot at 8.30 pm and as per the UTC officers, the response on the first day was quite good. They further said that the bus fare is Rs 745 for travelling from Haldwwani to Ayodhya and added that the number of buses heading to Ayodhya might be increased in the coming days with the expected surge in the number of passengers.
