Progressive budget will also help U’khand become a leading State: Dhami

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Union Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented a progressive and development-oriented budget. Congratulating the Union Finance minister, Dhami said that this interim budget will lend pace to the efforts aimed at making India an economic superpower by 2047.
Dhami said, “This all inclusive budget will play an important role in the upliftment of farmers, women, youths and the deprived section of society while also assisting in achieving PM Modi’s vision of a self-reliant India. Along with inclusive development, this budget will lent new dimensions to various sectors including infrastructure, connectivity, agriculture, women empowerment, health and tourism. This will help in achieving the aim of making India a developed nation by 2047.”
The chief minister further said that all round development is being achieved in the nation under PM Modi’s leadership. This budget will prove to be a milestone in the path to achieving Modi’s vision of making India a developed nation by 2047. The government has accorded priority to the interests of women, the poor, youths and farmers in this budget, Dhami said. “The budget includes provision for encouraging animal husbandry along with agriculture while also increasing the target for Lakhpati Didi Yojana from two crore to three crore for making the women economically self-reliant. The interim budget lays special focus on tourism, industry, air connectivity and other aspects. This will lend wings to tourism development in Uttarakhand. It will also help in expediting the grounding of industrial investment in the State. The State government is working according to PM Modi’s vision of making Uttarakhand a leading State. This interim budget will prove to be helpful in fulfilling this commitment,” the CM said.
