In latest news from Uttarakhand, Uttarkashi police arrested two persons who had been eluding them as part of their continuing operation to capture all the absconders to ensure free and fair Lok Sabha elections a few months away. The duo who were held were identified as Dinesh Prasad (35) and Jaspal Singh Rana (40).
Informing this, the superintendent of police Uttarkashi Arpan Yaduvanshi said that this operation to arrest the fugitives would continue. “The Kotwali police team has caught these two criminals and fresh cases have been registered against them under various sections,” he added.
