State BJP gears up for Nadda’s U’khand visit on Feb 28

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State unit is gearing up for the Uttarakhand visit of its national president JP Nadda on February 28. The national general secretary organisation of BJP BL Santosh reviewed the preparation of the party for the visit on Thursday.
Nadda will visit Haldwani, Haridwar and Dehradun during his one day visit. In Haldwani he will address a conclave of party workers and office bearers. In Haridwar he will take part in the meeting of the election campaign committee in Haridwar and then address a convention of party workers of Tehri Lok Sabha in Dehradun.
Santosh, who was on a two day visit to the State also reviewed the Lok Sabha level teams and preparations of the party for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on Thursday.
He held meetings with the convenors and co convenors of the five major campaigns of the party in the state. Santosh also met the Lok Sabha election convenors, co conveners, Lok Sabha in-charges and other leaders. In the meeting, he finalised the tour programme of national president Nadda. The meeting was attended by president of State BJP Mahendra Bhatt, general secretary organisation Ajey Kumar, Khilendra Chaudhary, Rajendra Bisht, state vice president Kuldeep Kumar, Neeru Devi, Puneet Mittal, Kaustubhand Joshi, Jyoti Gairola, Samir Arya and others.
The president of State BJP Mahendra Bhatt said that Santosh was informed about the progress of the beneficiary contact programme of the party. He said that the party unit has prepared a list of 25,000 party workers who will contact more than 10 lakh beneficiaries of different schemes of the government.
Bhatt said that every worker of the party will meet 10 -20 beneficiaries from March 1 to 3 and will upload Namo App in their mobile phones. He said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold virtual interaction with the women self help groups on March 6.
