In latest news from Uttarakhand, with the mercury in the political barometer shooting up less than a fortnight left for the April 19 polling in the State, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conducted a whirlwind campaign for the BJP candidate from Garhwal constituency Anil Baluni.

While seeking votes in the name of Modi-guaranteed development, he ripped into the Congress, saying that the opposition party had   mounted an onslaught on Uttarakhand’s martial legacy and legion of sacrifice by heaping insult on the late Chief of Defence Staff late Bipin Rawat. Invoking again the PM, he said that they are leaving no stone unturned to help his vision of the third decade of the 21st century belonging to Uttarakhand become a reality. He further said that thanks to the PM’s deep attachment to the State, it has got Central projects valued at over two lakh crore rupees.
