Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a mega rally at IDPL ground Rishikesh on Thursday. In a strategic move to ensure that optimum utilisation of the mass appeal of PM Modi is made, the BJP has selected IDPL ground Rishikesh as venue of PM’s rally. Rishikesh town is located at the junction of three Lok Sabha constituencies, Tehri, Garhwal and Haridwar. Large number of party workers and supporters from these three LS constituencies are expected to attend the PM’s rally.
The State BJP has thrown itself for the success of the PM’s rally. The president of State BJP Mahendra Bhatt and general secretary organisation Ajey Kumar held a meeting with the party functionaries on Wednesday to finalise the preparations for the rally. They also inspected the rally site.
The State media in charge of BJP, Manvir Chauhan said that there is huge enthusiasm for the PM’s rally in all the districts of Garhwal division.
He said that PM has a special affection for Uttarakhand and he has undertaken many developmental activities in the State due to which the people treat him as their guardian.
He claimed that lakhs of BJP people will throng Rishikesh for the PM’s rally which will create a record. Chauhan added that all the five candidates of BJP will register victories in Lok Sabha with huge margins. He said that every section of the society is standing firmly with PM Modi. Chauhan said that Defence minister Rajnath Singh will address rallies at Champwat and Chamoli. Similarly Uttar Pradesh (UP) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will address rallies at Srinagar, Roorkee and Haldwani. The election meetings of the Union home minister Amit Shah, Smriti Irani and other leaders will also be held.
