In latest news from Uttarakhand, with the Congress strategising how to combat the magic the Prime Minister Modi seems to have cast upon the people of Uttarakhand through his oratorical empathy, the party’s general secretary Priyanka Gandhi who is supposed to be the most charismatic leader after Sonia Gandhi is all set to lead the poll campaign on April 13. She is to address two rallies-one in Ramnagar that falls under the Nainital-Udham Singh Nagar constituency and the other in Roorkee under Haridwar constituency.
The party insiders said that Priyanka would strive to endear herself to the mountain people while rallying in Ramnagar and woo the minority people who constitute a major chunk of the constituency’s electorate while rallying in Roorkee.
Significantly, the party brass is yet to finalise the poll travel of Rahul Gandhi and the party president Mallikarjun Khagre with a few days left for the campaigning to end.
