SRHU inks MoU with PHDCCI for training programmes

The Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU) and the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) have inked a memorandum of understanding to provide industrial training to the students. Stating this, the president of SRHU Vijay Dhasmana emphasised that the MoU aims to facilitate industrial training and growth prospects for university students. He added that the collaboration will enable students to take advantage of the knowledge and resources available at the PHD Chamber, such as seminars, workshops and industrial training programmes aimed at bridging the gap between academic learning and industry practices. Dhasmana further highlighted that this partnership will also provide advanced training opportunities for university teachers and students through various industrial units associated with the PHD Chamber.
Further, PHDCCI executive director Ranjit Mehta stated that PHDCCI is currently undertaking an Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) awareness campaign nationwide. He also mentioned that comparable initiatives will be implemented at SRHU in alignment with MoU.
Notably, SRHU has established collaborations with educational and business entities worldwide which include Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, Global Health Alliance (GHA) United Kingdom, Lappeenranta University of Applied Sciences Finland and various other organisations.
