Congress claims to have won support of U’khand’s people in all 5 seats

The Uttarakhand Congress has claimed that the people of the State have voted for a change in all the five Lok Sabha constituencies of the State.

The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara said that the trends show that the Congress candidates received an enthusiastic support of people in all the five LS seats of the State. He claimed that the Congress party is set to sweep all the seats in the State. Mahara said that the people have voted to the Congress party for an inclusive and sustainable development in the country.

 The leader of opposition (LoP) in the State assembly, Yashpal Arya said that the people have voted in favour of the Congress party. He said that it is clear that the people want a change. Arya also expressed confidence that the Congress will win all the seats in the State.

The vice president of Uttarakhand Congress Suryakant Dhasmana said that the people have voted for change. He said that the Ankita Bhandari murder case, Agnipath scheme and increasing unemployment has affected the voting in the state and people have voted for the Congress party.

Congress leaders take part in voting for LS polls

DEHRADUN : All the senior leaders of the Congress party in the State exercised their franchise in Lok Sabha elections on Friday. The vice president of State Congress Mathur Dutt  Joshi said that the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara voted in the bank building Ranikhet while Leader of Opposition (LoP) Yashpal Arya cast his vote at Adarsh upper primary school, Chhadayal Suyal, Haldwani. Former chief minister Harish Rawat voted at ITI, Majra in Dehradun. The former PCC president Pritam Singh and his family members cast vote in his village Banad in Chakrata, Dehradun on the day. The Congress candidate from Garhwal, Ganeshi Godiyal voted at his native  Bhatkot booth in Pauri.
