In latest news from Doon, after all the polling officials returned after conducting peaceful election in the assembly segments of Dehradun district, the sealed EVMs and VVPATs were sent to Maharana Pratap Sports College in Raipur where these would be stored securely in the strongroom till the counting day.
The Dehradun district magistrate Sonika said that the movement around the strong room would be monitored on CCTV round the clock and three-tier security cover is in place to stop any attempt at tampering.
