In latest news from Uttarakhand, a ghastly incident of minor molestation surfaced again from Haridwar. As per the complaint lodged by the relatives of the minor at Kaliyar police station, when the 11-year-old girl was playing outside her home in the evening two youths identified as Sharukh and Qurban came and goaded her towards a desolate area in forest. Then Sharukh allegedly raped her while Qurban kept watch. After the act was done, the duo left, leaving her in the forest.
Meanwhile, her relatives while searching her saw her coming from forest and then she recounted her ordeal. A police complaint was lodged. The Kaliyar police station in-charge Dilbar Singh Negi said that they had filed a case against the duo and manhunt was on to nab them.
