In latest news from Uttarakhand, police booked 50 people for blocking the main road while protesting against the decision to open vend of foreign liquor in the Gumaniwala area of Rishikesh.
The commuters, including the school students, had to suffer because of the road blocking agitation, police said and added that even ambulances with patients in had to wait or take detours, increasing the critical travel time to hospitals.
