With a memorandum of understanding (MoU) being signed between Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU) and Industries Association of Uttarakhand (IAU) on Wednesday, the SRHU students would receive support from IAU for industry training and career growth, senior functionaries of the university claimed. The MoU was inked in the presence of the SRHU chancellor Rajendra Dobhal and IAU president Pankaj Gupta.
During the MoU signing ceremony, Dobhal stated that such collaboration with industry would provide ample opportunities to the youngsters to establish small, medium and micro enterprises. Hailing the initiative, Gupta said that IAU is committed to supporting the youth at SRHU aspiring for entrepreneurship.
While addressing the gathering, the programme coordinator Dr Apurv Trivedi explained that IAU is the largest consortium of small, medium and micro enterprises in Uttarakhand with many small and large industries operating here in association with IAU, adding that the initiative would also enhance the skills of the university professors.
