The State administration has handed over the charge of director of Geology and Mining department to Rajpal Legha. He is additional director in the department and will hold additional responsibility of director. Legha assumed the new charge on Thursday. He has taken over from SL Patrick who was suspended on Wednesday. Patrick was heading the department for the last 10 years. However, ahead of his retirement the administration suspended him on charges of corruption, delay in clearance of files and using class IV workers of the department for doing household works.
