In latest news from Uttarakhand, to escape the scorching heat in plains, tourists from across the country are now thronging hill stations like Nainital. With the lake city presently buzzing with the continuous influx of tourists, those related to tourism trade are looking happy, hoping that the influx would gain further momentum in the coming days.
The tourist places which are witnessing maximum tourist footfalls are including Snow View, Himalaya Darshan, Kilbari, Cave Garden, Zoo, Sarita Taal, Water Falls, Botanical Garden and Hanuman Garhi. Besides, the tourists are enjoying bath in the cold water of the iconic lake.
On the flip side of things, the parking slots being full, cars are being parked on sides of roads, triggering traffic woes for the people as well as the tourists. Traffic congestions are being seen the most on Mall Road.
Circle officer Sumit Pandey said that they are trying by all means to improve the traffic situation in view of the hordes of tourists gathering in the lake town in search of respite from the blistering summer heat.
