In latest news from Uttarakhand, a large number of devotees are lining up roads to pay obeisance to Baba Kedar Utsav Doli now on its way to Kedarnath Dham from the winter abode in Ukhimath. After resting for the night at the Vishanath temple in Gupkashi, the religious procession left for its next halt at Phata. The next halt is Gaurikund and from there the doli will resume its yatra and reach Kedarnath on May 9.
Notably, the portals of this revered shrine are slated to open ritualistically for the devotees on May 10 after the six-month winter closure.
