Eyeing a hattrick as the MP from the vibrant spiritual centre of India, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi filed his nomination from the Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency after he paid obeisance at the fabled Dashashwamedh Ghat and the Kaal Bhairav temple. Polling in Varanasi will take place in the seventh and the final phase of polling on June 1. The Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath was present at the collectorate when Modi filed his nomination papers.
Taking to X, he said that his relationship with Kashi is inseparable and the emotions he nurtures for Kashi cannot be expressed in words.
