Nadda likely to join Sushil Modi’s funeral

The last rites of the BJP veteran and Bihar’s former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi, who died at AIIMS New Delhi after battling cancer at the age of 72, are all set to be conducted around 6 pm in Patna on Tuesday. His mortal remains have been brought from Delhi to Patna and taken to his residence, the Assembly and the BJP State headquarters where a large number of leaders and workers paid tribute to the departed leader.
BJP national president J P Nadda may join the funeral and his last rites would be performed at Digha Ghat Crematorium in Patna. Notably, Modi served as Bihar’s deputy CM from 2005 to 2013 and again between 2017 and 2020.
