Bowing to the long standing demand of the LT teachers, the State government has approved the proposal for allowing inter divisional transfers of these teachers.
The education minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that the State cabinet had recently given its nod to the proposal to amend the Uttarakhand subordinate education (Trained graduate category) (amendment) service regulation -2024. He said that now the LT teachers will be able to change their division. However this choice will be given once during the entire service period. The minister added that soon a SoP will be prepared for this. He said that the teachers who had completed five years of satisfactory service will be given the option of changing the division.
Rawat said that the education department has constituted a five member committee for bringing transparency in the inter division transfer of LT teachers. The committee would be headed by the additional secretary, secondary education department.
