A seminar was organised at the Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU) to raise awareness about the environment as part of observing World Environment Day. During the event, a pledge was taken to take steps for environmental protection. During the programme, the vice-chancellor, SRHU Rajendra Dobhal informed about the rapid spread of pollution around the world and emphasised the need for collective action for environmental protection. The seminar included a discussion on river conservation and drought preparedness, with Dobhal sharing his experiences on preserving rivers from pollution.
