Narendra Modi is slated to take oath as the Prime Minister for the third straight term at 7.15 pm on June 9. Prior to this, the NDA allies will meet on June 7 to discuss the nitty -gritty of the government formation process. Notably, Modi was unanimously elected leader of the NDA at a meeting of the constituent parties, including BJP, Telegu Desam and JD (U) on June 5. Interestingly, both Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar stressed at the meeting on government formation being completed at the earliest to stop speculations abounding now.
It is further learnt that while Nitish is pitching for Rail ministry for his party Naidu is for his party being given the post of the Lok Sabha Speaker.
