The aftermath of the slapping incident involving the actor-turned politician and Mandi MP Kangana Ranaut has seen the suspension of the CISF’s woman constable and FIR being lodged against her. The Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini said that it was an unfortunate incident and the matter was being investigated.
Notably, Ranaut had been slapped by a CISF personnel at Chandigarh airport when she was about to emplane for Delhi. After this incident, Kangana had lodged a complaint with the airport police. The security staffer who slapped the MP had been identified as Kulwinder Kaur. According to sources, the security staffer had vented her anger on Ranaut for the latter’s allegedly derogatory comment on the farmers during the farmers’ agitation.
