In latest news from Uttarakhand, the Graphic Era Hill University, Bhimtal recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with MG Motors India at MG Motors plant in Halol, Gujarat. The university sources said that the objective behind the MoU was to ensure that MG Motors India conducts MG Nurture Programme on Connected Autonomous Electric Vehicles (CAEV) in the university campuses. The courses will be run as certificate course or as part of diploma, BTech and MTech courses. Apart from this, the students would be awarded basic and advanced level certificate in CAEV.
Speaking on the occasion, the director, value addition and value engineering MG Motors Sameer Jindal said that the electric vehicle technology is revolutionising the automobile industry and trained professionals in the field are need of the hour.
