Five critically injured accident victims admitted at AIIMS- R

The authorities airlifted seven critically injured pilgrims of the Rudraprayag accident to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rishikesh. The trauma surgeon of the institute, Dr Ruby Kataria said that two out of the seven were brought dead while the treatment of five critically injured patients is underway at the trauma centre. She said that apart from surgeons of the trauma department, a team of doctors of different departments is engaged in treatment of the injured. Dr Kataria said all the injured have deep wounds and all of them are in serious condition. She added that apart from 35-year-old Aditya and 22-year-old Chhavi none of the injured is in a condition to speak.
