UPES said that the AI Centre of Excellence at the university keeps integrating cutting-edge research and state-of-the-art facilities to empower students, faculty and researchers to push the boundaries of knowledge and technology.
The university office bearers further said that the centre would boost research and development in artificial intelligence, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration across diverse fields. It would act as a hub for industry partnerships, offering opportunities for joint research projects, internships and job placements aside from providing specialised courses and training programmes to equip students with essential AI skills, enhancing their competitiveness in the job market.
With focus trained on nurturing the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs, the centre supports AI-driven start-ups and entrepreneurial ventures, thus fostering innovation while contributing to economic growth both locally and nationally, the UPES added.
