Shri Guru Ram Rai (SGRR) University’s brand ambassador Sneha Rana has received the title of player of the match in the recently held cricket match against the South African team. Rana is currently a member of the national women cricket team. She crushed the SA batting line with her bowling taking all the 10 wickets.
Hailing her achievement, the SGRR University’s president Mahant Devendra Das congratulated Rana, emphasising the importance of promoting the success of women at all levels.
He lauded Rana as a role model for youth and the society, an exemplary figure for the ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ initiative. “She is also a source of pride for Uttarakhand as well as the nation,” he added.
The university’s faculty members and students conveyed their joy over Rana’s accomplishment.
