In Badrinath Assembly by- election there is a direct contest between Rajendra Bhandari of BJP and Lakhpat Singh Butola of Congress. In Manglaur there is a three cornered contest between Congress candidate Nizamuddin, BJP’s Avtar Singh Bhadana and Ubedurrehman Ansari of BSP. The by-election is being held due to the death of Sarwat Karim Ansari who had won from the constituency in the Assembly election of 2022.
The polling in both the Assembly constituencies will be held on July 10 and the counting of the votes will be done on July 13.
