In latest news from Uttarakhand, the regional meteorological centre said that the State is going to experience rain for the next three days. Five districts, in particular, have been named for heavy shower which may continue for three days. These districts are Dehradun, Pauri, Champawat, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar. Besides, Haridwar may experience thundering and lightning with heavy shower. The remaining seven districts may also record light to moderate rainfall for the next three days starting on Friday.
The Met officers warned of landslides in the sensitive places and so urged those living there to be alert. The Char Dham pilgrims have also been urged to take note of the weather before resuming or starting the yatra. While those living in low-lying areas should be on their guard as the rivers will be swelling, the farmers have been urged to take their harvested crops to secure places from fields.
