State BJP’s EC meeting commences

In latest news from Uttarakhand, while addressing the BJP’s one-day State executive committee (extended) meeting, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that in tandem with his earlier commitment, the Uniform Civil Code would be enforced in the State before the foundation day celebration on November 9. Further, he thanked the people of the State for helping the BJP government getting elected to the Centre for the straight third term by giving thumping victories to all the five candidates.
Among senior BJP leaders present at the meeting included the Union Minister of Power Manohar Lal Khattar, the party’s State in-charge Dushyant Kumar Gautam and the State BJP chief Mahendra Singh Bhatt. Around 1350 leaders are attending the meeting. A condolence resolution was passed on the recent demise of Kedarnath MLA Shaila Rani Rawat.
Besides, the presidents of 10 booths from which the BJP bagged the highest number of votes in the Lok Sabha election were felicitated.
